Bootcamp was not just all about training and playing hockey in the pool. It was believed that bringing the team together in a trip was a good step in building bond among the members. This bond is one of the essentials of a strong team. If you know your teammates, comfortable with them, and you love them, there's a big chance you'd stick with each other and fight for each other - in and out of the water.

Singapore (June 25-29, 2009) was our very first destination after we finished the bootcamp course. We were (Lucky) 13 in the trip, composed of the vets (Eric, Taleng, Nix, Ging, Jenny) and us hockey school regulars (Jason, Cherry, Steven, Aldous, Jomen, Connie, Kelvin, and moi). A single bathroom apartment proved to be a trivial matter to all of us who bunked in in one unit. Did I say we were 13 and there was only one toilet?
